Have you given up on us? We don't blame you, we almost gave up on us.
But we are back, for only a moment to tell you a bit of very exciting news for us personally, but very sad indeed for Tangled Threads.
You see, I started hankering after another baby, and I thought about it, around and around and around in my head, what would it mean for us to have a baby, and live on the road. I talked about it with Aud. "I am happy for you she would tell me, but I am not ready for another baby".
One morning as I gathered myself together for the day, I received a text from Audrey. Just a picture. A picture of a test....a pregnancy test! It was positive! How can this be? Neither of us can figure out how it happened... Im just kidding, we know, but still, it was a most exciting moment.
Less then 2 weeks later, after feeling significantly odd, I too took a test and boom, We are both pregnant. We are due within two weeks of each other. Baby number 6 for me, and baby number 3 for her. This was not planned, arranged or even considered as an option before hand. It was the Lord smiling on us.
What does this mean for Tangled Threads? Well, I am sure you all noticed how strong we started and then seemingly fizzled out, However we assure you, we did not fizzle out. We have been going strong in the background, developing patterns, ideas, plans. The reason you have not seen any of this is because since the birth of Tangled Threads, I have become an entirely nomadic family, homeschooling and living on the road. Our children love our new way of life, and so do I, most of the time. But right from the start when Aud and I started our beloved little business, we made a pact to never, ever, neglect our family in the pursuit of Tangled Threads. We have not, but it did force us to horribly neglect you.
But we are back, you will see us blogging, sewing, living and making babies in the next year, but we won't be selling or making except for ourselves. We are officially taking a whole year off so that we won't have any regrets with our precious babies. Lord willing you will see us again! We have such wonderful things in store for you guys, and hopefully we will be able to be far more committed once we pick this back up.
Thank you, Thank you for making us so successful, we love you all, and you will see much more of us on the blog. Goodbye for now little crickets, stay warm!
